Toddlers

Our program is structured to recognize a child’s “whole” self.

Our TODDLER PROGRAM educates children from one year through two years of age. Our program is structured to recognize a child’s “whole” self. By using this philosophy, we focus on a child’s emotional as well as academic growth. These years are very crucial to a child’s positive development in all areas. Children are encouraged to explore the world around them in “free play” centers. More structured centers such as letter recognition, gross and fine motor skill development as well as other basic skills. Our weekly lesson plans include an opportunity to learn a second language such as Spanish, French, and Sign Language. Our curriculum reinforces standards set forth by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the State of Delaware Department of Education. We have attached a developmental outline that summarizes the areas that we focus on in this program.
