How else do we keep your children safe while at GNB?

  • All of our sites practice fire drills monthly, as well as tornado, and intruder drills.

  • All staff have to pass a state background check prior to working. Additionally, if they have lived out-of-state, an FBI background check is also required.

  • We utilize the Tadpoles App as our family communication tool. This system notifies families when their child(ren) have been checked-out for the day.

  • All classrooms are not totally enclosed. Security glass has been installed between classrooms as well as in the hallway, so children never completely out of view.

  • Cameras are present in all rooms for parents to view.

  • All staff receive an orientation before they are hired, and then 60 days after hire, and again annually.

  • All staff are CPR & First Aid certified, and licensed to administer medication.

  • Name-to-face head counts are performed when transitioning between classrooms and playgrounds.
  • We perform nightly professional cleaning, including UV light.

 How do we make sure you child is benefiting from our program?

  • We participate in the Department of Education supported Ages & Stages Developmental Screening.
  • Our teaching staff utilizes Department of Education supported TS Gold as Curriculum.
  • We offer two Parent/Teacher Conferences annually.
  • We support an open-door policy with the teaching staff as well as our administration team.

  • We complete monthly portfolios and observations to track your child’s development.

  • Each of our playgrounds are inspected every spring by a CPSI (Certified Playground Safety Inspector). Our certificates are proudly displayed.
