Infant Care

Care will be individualized based on each child’s developmental needs.

Our INFANTS PROGRAM serves children from the age of 8 weeks through the age of 12 months. There will be approximately 8 infants assigned to these classrooms with consistent caregivers. Our infant program only offers full time enrollment options (Monday though Friday). It has been our experience that a babies need a set routine each day to thrive, therefore in order to better serve our youngest learners, we only offer full-time. We offer part-time schedules with our Toddler Program.

You can be assured that all infants will be cared for in a loving and nurturing environment that will recognize their individuality. It is our philosophy that each child needs a lot of love and attention at this age to reinforce trust and a positive relationship between child and caregiver. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

CONTINUED CARE

Our infant rooms are designed
with safety in mind.

Our infant caregivers are trained in safe infant sleep practices.

BACK TO SLEEP best practice is followed in our Infant Program. The “Back to Sleep” campaign promotes placing infants on their backs to sleep for naps.  This position has been proven to significantly reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and other sleep-related deaths. Additionally, this practice should be followed until the baby is one year of age.

We utilize the Tadpoles App as our childcare communications platform.

Our infant program allows families to enter their baby’s care routines at home, as well as other care notes needed for the day, prior to dropping of their little one through our Tadpole app.  This app, at the end of our day allows our caregivers to update families on their baby’s care routines throughout the day.  Equally important, we always welcome our families to call us during the day as well to check on their little one.

Cleanliness and Safety

Each infant is assigned a crib that is just for their use.  In addition, we utilize a color-coded system for all children’s bottles to make sure that each child only has a bottle that belongs to them since labels can be easily removed during washing.
